H&M North America

H&M’s diversity and inclusion mission to create a brand that reflects the values of its people and its customers, today and tomorrow. When the company hired Ezinne Kwubiri as its head of diversity and inclusion for North America, I thought it was a great opportunity to help makes its vision a reality.

I partnered with Kwubiri and WeGiveToo, a non-profit focused on increasing minority volunteer work, to create the Stay True, Stay You campaign. The concept was birthed out of the vision of observing Pride as an opportunity to celebrate individuality the embrace our differences as strengths.

Our team worked with H&M to create the concept’s branding and an event in New York City with a panel discussion featuring the Trevor Project, Aja the Kween from Ru Paul’s Drag Race, Ty Hunter the stylist, fashion incubator Sharifa Murdock and Raquel Willis of OUT Magazine.
